Gun metal grey is not the only fluff colour scheme. In an Index Astartes article some time back in WD (260s??) that featured both the Grey Knights and Deathwatch, the Grey Knights were shown to have Black armour (also armour type was more like standard SM PA & TDA).As well, in tyhe novel 'Killing Fields', their armour was described as "burnished blue-steel silver".
